Privacy Policy
Hourline is a world clock and time zone converter for Android. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
What we collect
Nothing. Hourline does not collect, store on any server, sell or share personal or usage data.
- No account is needed and none can be created.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking tools are included in the app.
- No location access. Your home city is taken from your phone's time zone setting, which the app reads on the device without any permission.
What stays on your phone
The cities you add, your home city and your settings (12/24-hour clock, theme) are saved only on your device so the app remembers them. They never leave your phone. Uninstalling Hourline deletes them.
Network use
Hourline works entirely offline. Its time zone rules are built into the app.
Beta testing
If you join the Hourline beta, you do so through Google Groups and Google Play, under Google's privacy policy. As the group's owner, the developer can see the email address you joined with. It is used only to give you access to the test and is never shared. Leave the group, or email us, to have it removed. Feedback you email us is used only to improve the app.
This website
This website sets no cookies, has no analytics and loads nothing from other sites.
Children
Hourline is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
